Hybrid Work Model

At Assent, we proudly embrace a remote-first work model, valuing the flexibility and autonomy it provides our team. We also acknowledge the intangible benefits of occasional in-person workdays. For team members situated within 50 kms/31 miles of our five global offices in Ottawa, Eldoret, Penang, Columbus, Pune and Amsterdam, you can expect to come into the office 1-3 days a week. Similarly, those near our co-working spaces in Nairobi and Toronto are encouraged to work onsite once a month.

Job Description

We’re looking for an Enablement Content Specialist who can turn ideas, processes, and programs into clear, engaging, and reusable learning experiences for our Go-To-Market (GTM) teams. You will create high-quality enablement content that accelerates onboarding, improves sales effectiveness, and supports ongoing learning across our global organization.

This role is ideal for someone who loves building content, enjoys simplifying complex concepts, and wants to grow in the fast-expanding field of Sales & GTM Enablement.

Qualified applicants will be requested to provide a portfolio of work samples that demonstrate capabilities and experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop high-quality enablement content across multiple formats: slide decks, job aids, videos, knowledge base articles, and SCORM/eLearning modules.

  • Build content for onboarding, compliance, process adoption, and sales/business development enablement.

  • Apply learning-science and instructional design best practices to ensure clarity, retention, and real-world application.

  • Maintain content standards, templates, and style guidelines to ensure consistency and accessibility.

  • Package content in SCORM/LMS-compatible formats and support LMS uploads or updates as needed.

  • Repurpose, modularize, and scale content across teams and learning pathways.

  • Use modern content and AI-driven tools to improve production speed and quality.

  • Partner with Sales, Business Development, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure content aligns with GTM outcomes.

  • Support program rollouts and occasionally present content during training or enablement sessions.

Qualifications

  • Background in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Business, Communications, or equivalent hands-on experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in content development, instructional design, L&D, or enablement (a strong portfolio is highly valued).

  • Familiarity with enterprise SaaS, B2B sales, or process-centric content (exposure to GTM environments is a strong advantage).

  • Familiarity with sales processes, enterprise SaaS concepts, or GTM environments (training provided for the right candidate)

  • Hands-on experience with authoring and content tools such as Articulate, Rise, Captivate, video editors, or AI-enabled content tools.

  • Understanding of learning-science principles, accessibility, and modern training practices.

  • Strong writing, structuring, and visual organizational skills with a high attention to detail.

  • Ability to collaborate with global stakeholders and translate inputs into polished, ready-to-use assets.

  • Curiosity and an innovation mindset—comfortable experimenting with AI/automation to scale content.
