As demand for our platform grows, we are seeking a Solutions Engineer who can help customers turn complex operational challenges into practical AI deployments that deliver measurable value.

Role Summary

The Solutions Engineer will own the technical customer journey from discovery through demonstration, proof-of-concept, implementation, and adoption. This person will translate customer needs into practical solution designs, reduce technical risk during sales cycles, and ensure customers realize measurable operational value from Contextere's AI platform.

The Opportunity

This is a high-impact customer-facing technical role for someone who wants to shape how industrial and defence organizations adopt AI in real operational environments. As a Solutions Engineer, you will become the technical bridge between customers, sales, product, and engineering. You will play a critical role in helping organizations understand, adopt, and successfully deploy Contextere's AI solutions.

You will lead demonstrations, support strategic customer engagements, design and deploy proof-of-concepts, guide implementations, and influence product direction based on real-world customer needs. The ideal candidate combines technical depth with business acumen and enjoys working directly with customers to solve complex challenges. This position offers significant visibility and growth opportunities, working directly with executive leadership and some of the world's most recognized industrial and defence organizations.

What You'll Do

Customer & Technical Engagement

  • Serve as the technical lead during customer and partner engagements.

  • Understand customer challenges and translate them into compelling AI solutions.

  • Deliver demonstrations, workshops, and executive briefings.

  • Lead discovery sessions that identify business value, operational impact, and deployment requirements.

  • Build trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders.

Solution Design & Proof-of-Concept Delivery

  • Design and deploy proof-of-concepts that demonstrate measurable customer value.

  • Configure and customize solution environments for customer use cases.

  • Develop lightweight integrations, workflows, and prototypes.

  • Work closely with Engineering to validate implementation and deployment plans.

  • Assist customers with data readiness, onboarding, and adoption strategies.

Customer Success & Deployment

  • Lead customer onboarding and implementation activities.

  • Guide customers through successful deployments and rollout plans.

  • Deliver administrator and end-user training.

  • Drive solution adoption and identify opportunities for expansion.

  • Ensure customers achieve measurable business outcomes.

Sales & Business Development Support

  • Support strategic sales opportunities and technical evaluations.

  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, security reviews, and technical assessments.

  • Develop solution architectures and technical proposal content.

  • Support partner-led opportunities and joint customer pursuits.

  • Help accelerate sales cycles by reducing technical risk and uncertainty.

Product & Market Intelligence

  • Act as the voice of the customer within Contextere.

  • Collect customer feedback and operational insights.

  • Influence product roadmap decisions through direct market engagement.

  • Identify recurring customer needs that can be transformed into product capabilities.

  • Support beta testing and validation of new features.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 3+ years in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, Customer Success Engineer, or related customer-facing technical role.

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with executives, technical teams, customers, and internal stakeholders.

  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear business language.

  • Experience with enterprise software, cloud platforms, or SaaS solutions.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.

  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving startup environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple customer priorities, stakeholders, and delivery deadlines.

  • Ability to connect product capabilities to customer requirements, business value, operational impact, and measurable outcomes.

  • Ability to lead technical discovery, assess customer needs, address technical objections, and recommend practical deployment approaches.

  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

  • Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in defence, aerospace, industrial automation, manufacturing, critical infrastructure, or enterprise software.

  • Experience with AI, machine learning, analytics, or knowledge management.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and enterprise cloud architectures.

  • Experience developing APIs, integrations, scripts, or automation workflows.

  • Experience supporting government procurement processes and proposals.

  • Security clearance eligibility or existing clearance is considered an asset.
