We are seeking an energetic and motivated Intermediate Product Engineer to join our team where your contributions will focus on outcomes for the customer and the product to make a real impact on worker safety. You'll collaborate with talented teammates, use agentic workflows, and work with modern technologies like TypeScript, NodeJs, Angular, MongoDB, and AWS, and help shape the future of our product.

You will also contribute occasionally to third-line support, supporting our technical support analysts and fixing bugs.
WHAT YOU BRING
-
University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Computer Studies, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field - we value shipped products and demonstrated problem-solving abilities over specific credentials.
-
Demonstrated ability to correlate technical architecture with product outcomes and user needs. You don't just build features; you build solutions that move North Star metrics.
-
Ability to deeply understand construction industry workflows and translate "boots-on-the-ground" problems into elegant digital systems.
-
A bias for action—willingness to build a "lean" POC or MVP to validate a product hypothesis before over-engineering a permanent solution.
-
Experience building with Agentic AI tools to automate complex user workflows, enhance data quality, or provide proactive insights within the application.
-
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail with a curious and quality-oriented mindset.
-
Familiar with software engineering best practices and programming concepts.
-
Familiarity with integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into the product experience to solve non-linear problems (e.g., document parsing, automated scheduling, or site-report generation).
-
Using AI agents to maintain high code quality, automate testing, and shorten the feedback loop between an idea and a production release.
-
2–5 years of experience with TypeScript, Angular, and Node.js. You should be comfortable moving across the entire stack to deliver a complete feature.
-
Experience with NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB) and AWS (CDK, Microservices). You understand how the backend enables a fast, reliable user experience.
-
Proficiency with Capacitor and Ionic to ensure the product is functional where the customer is - whether that’s in an office or on a job site.
-
Experience with automated testing strategies - You believe that a feature isn't "done" until it is verified and resilient.
-
Expert use of Git, VSCode, and outcome-tracking tools like Linear or Shortcut.
-
Experience working in a technology startup or construction industry workflows would be an asset.
WHAT WE OFFER
-
Rewarding Benefits - Enjoy competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a stock option plan
