Field Effect is hiring a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This role manages the day-to-day flow of orders, billing, and revenue tracking, and supports month-end reconciliations. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, thrives on accuracy, and brings experience working within mature financial control environments.Please note: This role requires working in our Lansdowne office five days per week during the training period, followed by a hybrid schedule of at least three in-office days per week.What You’ll Do: Process end-to-end customer activity, including entering new orders, renewals, upgrades, and cancellations.Review, validate, and enter order details into accounting and billing systems with a high degree of accuracy.Partner with Sales & Customer Success teams to resolve order-related questions and discrepancies.Generate and distribute invoices while investigating and resolving billing discrepancies in a timely manner.Support accounts receivable activities, including collections and responding to customer inquiries.Apply customer payments and perform bank reconciliations.Contribute to month-end close, including reconciliations of order activity, recurring revenue, and deferred revenue.Prepare routine reports on order volume, billing status, and revenue backlog.Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.Ensure data integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and customer information. Skills & Experience We Look For: Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in accounting or a related field.3+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.Experience working with accounting and billing systems in a high-volume environment.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry.Understanding of accounting principles, deferrals, and revenue recognition.Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Strong written and oral communication skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with changing priorities.
