This is a highly strategic role that sits at the intersection of our technical and go-to-market teams.You'll be responsible for defining market positioning, leading go-to-market programs, driving competitive and market intelligence, supporting revenue growth through sales enablement, and ensuring our voice in the market remains differentiated and compelling.What You'll Do: Own product positioning, messaging, and value propositions across Field Effect's cybersecurity solutions.Lead market research and competitive intelligence initiatives, gathering insights on customer needs, market trends, buyer behaviour, pricing, and the competitive landscape.Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products, features, and strategic initiatives.Act as the bridge between technical and go-to-market teams, delivering alignment across stakeholders, and ensuring product innovation is translated into differentiated market positioning, compelling customer messaging, and measurable business results.Serve as the voice of the customer and market across the organization, helping shape how products are positioned, communicated, and brought to market.Drive sales enablement initiatives, including battlecards, sales playbooks, solution briefs, presentations, and training programs that support pipeline growth and revenue generation.Lead analyst relations and market influence programs to strengthen Field Effect's visibility and positioning within the cybersecurity industry.Collaborate across Product, Research & Development, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure consistent messaging and successful product launches.Measure and communicate the impact of product marketing programs on awareness, pipeline, adoption, and revenue.Build and scale product marketing processes, programs, and team capabilities as the organization grows. Skills & Experience We Look For: Deep cybersecurity industry expertise, with a strong understanding of the threat landscape, cybersecurity technologies, buyers, and market trends.10+ years of experience in Product Marketing or related marketing leadership roles within cybersecurity organizations.15+ years working in or alongside cybersecurity analysts or other technical cybersecurity roles.Experience within an EDR, MDR, XDR, or adjacent cybersecurity vendor, with a strong understanding of selling to mid-market and enterprise organizations through both direct and channel-led motions, including MSPs and VARs.Demonstrated success developing product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for cybersecurity products and solutions.Demonstrated ability to influence business outcomes through product positioning, market strategy, sales enablement, and go-to-market execution.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling customer value and business outcomes.Experience partnering closely with technical and go-to-market teams, translating deeply technical concepts for personas and stakeholders of varied technical backgrounds.Strong understanding of market research, competitive intelligence, sales enablement, and product launch execution.Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and storytelling skills.Advanced stakeholder management skills, with a detailed approach to documentation and communication across internal teams to deepen alignment.Fluent in using AI for Product Marketing workflows; you should be comfortable using Claude Cowork or Microsoft Copilot in your day to day, and adopting new tooling as needed.Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
