What You Will Do:
Reporting to the Director of Programs, the Program Coordinator will play a key role in the implementation, coordination, and growth of Food Cycle Science programs across multiple sectors, including municipal, multi-residential, and institutional (e.g., schools).
This is a full-time permanent replacement position. This role blends hands-on program execution with a forward-looking mindset focused on scaling and continuous improvement. The Program Coordinator will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality programs, support expansion opportunities, and ensure strong stakeholder engagement.
With the company experiencing rapid growth across multiple verticals, this role offers significant opportunity to build expertise, contribute to program evolution, and support the expansion of innovative food waste solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the implementation of new and ongoing programs across municipal, multi-residential, and institutional sectors
- Support program growth by identifying opportunities for expansion, increased participation, and improved delivery models
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition from program acquisition to implementation, with a focus on long-term success and scalability
- Manage day-to-day program operations, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations are met
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including municipalities, property managers, schools, and partners
- Support and deliver presentations to stakeholders to communicate program value and outcomes
- Coordinate the development and execution of program materials, including guides, communications, and marketing assets
- Collect, manage, and analyze program data, including surveys and performance metrics, to inform reporting and continuous improvement
- Track and document all stakeholder interactions in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot)
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, marketing) to ensure program success, including inventory management and accurate invoicing
- Monitor funding opportunities, grants, and RFPs across relevant sectors
- Support participation in industry events, conferences, and trade shows
- Communicate feedback from stakeholders to internal teams to inform product and program improvements
- Contribute to the development of scalable systems and processes to support program efficiency and growth
- Other duties as assigned
What You Bring:
- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Science, Environmental Studies, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of experience in program/project coordination or related areas (e.g., operations, customer support, sales, research, administration)
- Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating across diverse stakeholder groups
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including presenting to internal and external audiences
- Proficiency with CRM, e-commerce, and project management tools (e.g., HubSpot, Shopify, ClickUp), as well as Microsoft Office 365 and virtual platforms (e.g., Teams)
- Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Proactive, solutions-oriented, and adaptable, with strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail
- Passion for sustainability, innovation, and clean technology
The following would be considered an asset:
- Bilingualism (English and French)
- Experience working with municipal governments or other levels of government
- Experience working across both public and private sector environments
