Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager (TPM) to lead the strategic evolution of the FundMore AI Platform. This is a critical leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, user experience, and business strategy.

The successful candidate will have a strong engineering background, deep fluency in AI/ML systems, and demonstrated success in shipping data-driven, AI-powered products. You will drive our AI product vision, influence cross-functional teams without direct authority, and help establish a modern, scalable product management practice for AI innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Set Vision & Strategy

● Define and evolve the product vision for FundMore’s AI platform, grounded in customer needs, business priorities, and long-term scalability.

● Translate abstract concepts and AI trends into compelling, actionable product roadmaps.

● Champion an AI-first product culture across the company.

Lead & Manage Product Engineering Teams

● Directly manage engineers and/or engineering leads focused on building FundMore’s AI platform, services, and tools.

● Hire, coach, and grow a high-performing team of software engineers with AI/ML expertise.

● Own engineering delivery processes — from sprint planning and code quality to incident response and performance reviews.

● Partner closely with product, design, data science, and compliance stakeholders to ensure roadmap execution is efficient and aligned.

Drive Technical Product Delivery

● Lead cross-functional teams to build and ship features that leverage LLMs, generative AI, embeddings, OCR, credit modeling, and fraud detection.

● Prioritize ruthless execution — from writing crisp PRDs to managing delivery timelines and addressing trade-offs.

● Work hands-on with engineers and data scientists to prototype, test, and scale solutions.

Customer-Backed Innovation

● Conduct user research, customer interviews, and usability testing to identify high-value opportunities.

● Collaborate closely with underwriters, compliance officers, lenders, and brokers to co-design solutions.

● Represent the voice of the customer and ensure product-market fit at all stages of development.

AI Governance & Compliance

● Collaborate with legal, compliance, and risk teams to embed responsible AI practices (explainability, fairness, traceability).

● Ensure AI features meet Canadian regulatory and privacy frameworks (e.g., OSFI, PIPEDA).

Thought Leadership & GTM Enablement

● Support technical sales, client onboarding, and product demos.

● Create technical product collateral to enable customer success, marketing, and partnerships.

● Serve as an internal AI evangelist and external-facing thought leader.

Qualifications – What We’re Looking For

Required

● 6+ years of experience in product management, including 3+ years building AI/ML-powered platforms or products.

● Strong technical background — degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.

● Experience working with modern ML and AI tools such as LLMs, vector search, classification models, and document intelligence.

● Proven success delivering technical products in complex, regulated environments (preferably in FinTech, InsurTech, or HealthTech).

● Ability to break down complex problems and translate them into clear requirements and developer-ready specifications.

● Experience working with cross-functional teams in an agile environment — including engineers, data scientists, designers, legal, and sales.

● Deep product intuition backed by metrics and experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, data instrumentation, KPI analysis).

Preferred / Bonus

● Experience with productizing GenAI using tools like LangChain, Azure OpenAI, Claude, or Vertex AI.

● Familiarity with financial compliance standards (e.g., mortgage lending rules, credit risk models, OSFI).

● Hands-on with prototyping tools, API testing (e.g., Postman), or scripting in Python or JavaScript for rapid validation.

● Strong storytelling, writing, and visual communication skills.
