Transform Patient Care Through Precision Medicine

We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Sales Executive to drive adoption of a rapidly growing pharmacogenomics platform that is helping hospitals personalize treatment decisions for stroke and cardiovascular patients.

This is a strategic, quota-carrying sales management role responsible for securing new hospital and health system partnerships across the Northeast region. The successful candidate will work closely with physicians, laboratory leaders, quality stakeholders, and executive decision-makers to implement CYP2C19 testing programs that support evidence-based treatment decisions and improved patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate is an accomplished healthcare sales professional with a proven track record of winning complex hospital accounts, navigating multi-stakeholder sales cycles, and delivering clinical value in highly technical healthcare environments.

What You'll Do

Drive New Business Growth

· Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan focused on acquiring new hospital and health system customers.

· Identify, engage, and close opportunities that result in long-term supply agreements and sustained platform utilization.

· Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue, account acquisition, and activity objectives.

· Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities across all stages of the sales process.

Lead Complex Hospital Sales Cycles

· Navigate complex healthcare purchasing environments involving physicians, laboratory leadership, pharmacy, nursing, supply chain, finance, and value analysis committees.

· Develop account-specific strategies that address clinical, operational, financial, and implementation considerations.

· Lead contract discussions and coordinate internal resources to successfully advance opportunities to close.

· Effectively manage competitive positioning and overcome barriers to adoption.

Establish Clinical and Executive Relationships

· Develop trusted relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), physician champions, and executive stakeholders within Neurology and Interventional Cardiology service lines.

· Cultivate relationships with laboratory directors, pharmacists, administrators, and other institutional decision-makers who influence testing adoption.

· Serve as a strategic partner to customers throughout the evaluation, implementation, and expansion process.

Deliver Clinical Value

· Present scientific, clinical, operational, and economic evidence to diverse healthcare audiences.

· Conduct educational programs, product demonstrations, and executive-level presentations that communicate the value of pharmacogenomic testing.

· Confidently address clinical and technical questions from physicians, laboratorians, pharmacists, and healthcare executives.

· Stay current on the clinical landscape, customer needs, and evolving institutional requirements affecting CYP2C19 testing.

Manage Territory Performance

· Maintain accurate forecasting, opportunity tracking, and customer engagement records within CRM.

· Utilize data-driven account planning to prioritize high-value opportunities and maximize territory performance.

· Collaborate effectively with Marketing, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership teams to support customer acquisition and growth.

· Maintain a high-quality activity cadence —including in-person hospital visits, virtual meetings, and substantive phone calls with emphasis on advancing accounts through the sales process to close.
