VP People and Culture Job Description
This role will oversee all aspects of Human Resources. We have a strong Director of HR in place who leads our Talent Acquisition, Office and Events Management, Intern Programs, and Benefits, and provides HR support for Health and Safety. The VP People and Culture will be primarily accountable for Culture, Learning and Leadership, Performance Development, Engagement and DEI. In addition, the VP People and Culture will be a key strategic partner to the CEO and Executive leaders, providing counsel and supporting the success of the business.
• Culture: Building on a strong foundation, evolve a healthy, high-performance culture.
• Learning and Leadership: Create and drive learning and leadership development initiatives that promote continuous learning.
• Performance Development, Rewards & Recognition: Lead performance and talent development processes, manage compensation strategy, and drive recognition initiatives.
• Employee Engagement: Enhance employee connection and provide an environment that encourages employees to do the best work of their career.
• Diversity and Inclusion: Lead initiatives related to diversity and inclusion.
Preferred Background
• 10 years of Culture and Leadership Development experience, with a minimum of 3 years as a senior leader in HR (Director or VP).
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and deliver operationally. This is a hands-on role that requires building and developing capabilities in a high growth and complex setting with a small, but high performing team.
• Proven record of excellence in managing a team.
