The Manager, Information Technology and Technology Experience is responsible for overseeing important aspects of the corporate infrastructure and internal processes at JSI, which includes in-office and out-of-office employees’ devices, corporate network infrastructure and services, and vendor relationships. As an integral part of the Trust & Security group, you would own the delivery of employee experience, reliability and security of these functions.
The individual must have a keen understanding of information technology management, be well organized, a planner and be able to effectively communicate with a wide variety of individuals both internally and externally. You will need to rely on your extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Work with key stakeholders to provide delivery dates for improvements of systems.
- Forecast hardware and software requirements for a geographically distributed organization, with on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
- Leverage tooling to provide a high degree of care for our employees’ technology experience
- Manage a small team: Hiring, communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job
- Run a safe, injury/accident-free workplace
You will also take part in:
- Continuous compliance processes (ISO-27001, EU CRA, UK Cyber Essentials, NIST 800-53)
- Procurement pathway involving Legal, Finance and IT to better manage and integrate key vendors with our supply chain
- Security efforts, moving toward a zero-trust architecture in a hybrid (on-premise & cloud) internal services

- You have a demonstrable track-record of evolving IT from a Help Desk function to an innovation-accelerator within an organization
- You have a constant-learner mindset; show us your home-lab, talk about automation of core business functions or how AI is re-shaping your environment.
- You have led initiatives that helped prioritize technology experience with multiple operating systems support.
- You have a strong experience with our complex technology stack (Infrastructure: VMware, Dell EquaLogic, AWS, Azure, Cloudflare; Software: ManageEngine, CrowdStrike, Webex).
How we Work?
You will be expected to work in a Hybrid environment reporting to our Kanata, Ontario location 2 or more times per week.
