Marketing Events Coordinator (5 Month Term)

JSI is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Events Coordinator to join our expanding marketing team to help JSI deliver exceptional event experiences. Your role includes responsibility for managing all aspects of customer- and potential-customer facing events, including industry tradeshows & conferences, JSI-hosted user conferences, and additional JSI-hosted marketing events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate event logistics including venues, vendors, travel, shipping, and materials
  • Support trade shows and events (booth setup, inventory, timelines, on-site support)
  • Act as a central coordinator across marketing, sales, and external partners
  • Manage event communications (invitations, internal briefings, follow-ups)
  • Track budgets, process invoices, and maintain accurate expense records
  • Support post-event reporting, lead tracking, and handoff to sales
  • Assist with organizing internal events, including virtual and in-person sales kick offs.

Required Qualifications:

  • P2 years working experience in event coordination or a similar role.
  • Experience in tradeshow planning and marketing-related events.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with social media coordination and basic marketing workflows.
  • Knowledge of event contracts, vendor management, and billing practices.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and using event management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in fast-paced marketing organization.
  • Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM/marketing tools (Salesforce/Hubspot) are a plus.
How we Work?
You will be expected to work in a Hybrid environment reporting to our Kanata, Ontario location 2 or more times per week.
