Our Revenue Operations Team:
The Revenue Operations team at Knak is a fun, collaborative, and high-energy crew that thrives on curiosity, teamwork, and getting things done. We're agile in how we work, always adapting and improving, and we genuinely love building together. We work cross-functionally to support Business Development, Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, and Support, as well as partner closely with our Marketing Operations team. Together, we keep the go-to-market engine running smoothly and scalably.
As Deal Desk Manager, you’ll be the strategic and operational engine behind Knak’s quote-to-close process. Reporting to the Director of Revenue Operations, you will manage pricing approvals, contract workflows, and cross-functional deal execution to ensure speed, compliance, and scalability. This role is highly collaborative, working closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, Customer Success, and Leadership.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Deal Execution & Procurement Support:
    • Manage the external procurement process, support Sales and Customer Success.
    • Manage the internal procurement process, working alongside the Finance Team.
      • Work within Knak’s Procurement tool, Tropic (owned by Finance), ensuring alignment between buyer requirements and internal policies, including risk management.
    • Collaborate with other teams within Knak, such as the Partnerships team, to review agreements to ensure compliance and alignment with company goals.
      • Alongside Sales and CS Managers, provide coaching around contract negotiations to maximize revenue and minimize the cost of internal resources.
  • Contract Management:
    • Own customer-facing and internal contract workflows across sales, renewals, and services.
    • Partner with external Legal counsel to ensure contracts are compliant, accurate, and timely.
    • Scope, implement and manage internal contract management tool to:
      • Manage contracts across the organization from Sales, vendors, partners and others in one centralized tool
      • Collaborate with the Security team to track non-standard terms and assist in risk mitigation and approvals.
  • Quoting & Pricing Operations:
    • Manage Knak’s quoting tools, including DealHub and Salesforce CPQ/Revenue Cloud, to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely quote generation.
    • Support complex deal structuring and pricing strategies in alignment with Finance and RevOps.
      • Ensure proper records within Salesforce to ensure accurate Revenue Reporting.
    • Support complex negotiations and procurement cycles
    • Maintain and optimize quote templates, approval workflows, and system integrations.
    • Ensure data integrity is being maintained consistently and accurate across entire sales process (from contract creation to contract close)
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Serve as a central point of contact between Sales, Customer success, Legal and Finance.
    • Proactively identify and resolve deal blockers or delays, and escalate to Dir. RevOps where required.
    • Support deal reviews and approval cycles across functions.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Analyze and optimize deal desk workflows to improve cycle time, accuracy, and scalability.
    • Maintain documentation and training materials for deal desk processes and systems.
Skills and Experience:
  • 3–5 years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or a similar role at a SaaS or B2B tech company.
    • Start-up/Series A size company experience is an Asset
  • Considered an asset: Hands-on experience with DealHub, Salesforce CPQ/Revenue Cloud, and/or other quoting platforms.
  • Familiarity with procurement tools and processes (experience with Tropic is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of SaaS commercial models and contract structures. Understanding of SaaS metrics will be an asset.
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a bias toward efficiency, systems thinking, and continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment where processes are still being built
