Background

Okay, let’s get straight to the point. LemonadeLXP needs a product marketing strategist who decides who we’re talking to, what we say to them, and which releases deserve the spotlight. Our customers are banks and credit unions. We want them to understand how we’re different and how each feature addresses one of their business problems.

Got it. But, what's LemonadeLXP?

We're flat out the best learning & knowledge platform in the world. What the hell does that mean, you ask?

The Sitch

We have product-market fit and a healthy roster of bank, credit union and fintech customers. We ship every two to four weeks, and plenty of what we’ve already shipped never got its moment. Priorities shift quickly with customer and market signals, so we don’t publish a long-range roadmap. You’ll plan on a rolling window and anchor our messaging on themes that last.

The Work

  • Decide which marketing releases get launched. Triage every release into a full launch, a light touch, or internal-only. Set the criteria and make the calls.
  • Equip Sales. Turn each feature into a battle card and talk track, working with Sales and Customer Success.
  • Close the backlog. Audit features we’ve shipped but never marketed, and build the plan to bring the best ones to market.
  • Learn from the market. Run win/loss reviews, request customer interviews through our CX and customer advocacy teams, and draw on call recordings, product usage and NPS results.
  • Measure. Define what success means for each launch, read attribution and CRM data, and recommend what changes next.
  • Brief the people who produce. Write the brief behind every request to our writing service, content studio, marketing team and web team.
  • Feed Product. Take what you learn from the market back to the people deciding what we build.

The Support

Our team can help with positioning, writing copy, designing assets, building pages and creating video.

What you don't do

Set pricing, packaging or product priorities.

How you’ll work

  • You’ll see features as soon as they’re merged, usually about two weeks before release, with internal documentation as your source of truth.
  • Our writing service, content studio, marketing team and web team each have their own queues and priorities. You’ll earn priority through clear briefs and good judgment, not authority.
  • You report to our CEO and work closely with Sales, Customer Success and Marketing.

The first 90 days

  • An audit of shipped-but-unmarketed features, with a prioritized plan
  • A reconciled ICP and persona set
  • A launch triage process running on live releases
  • Battle cards for every release in the window

The Fit

  • A seasoned product marketer or GTM strategist who turns features into value financial institutions care about
  • Someone who writes briefs people can execute without a follow-up call
  • Able to influence people who don’t report to you
  • Comfortable with attribution and CRM funnel data
  • Able to position AI features for risk-averse buyers, and comfortable using AI tools to work faster within security rules
  • Detail-oriented, self-directed, and comfortable with shifting priorities
  • Comfortable presenting to our sales team and leadership

The Perks

  • 4-day work week!
  • work from home (remote Canada-wide)
  • ownership that truly cares about team members
  • work with a talented team of kind people (no egos & BS)
