Position SummaryThe IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing high-quality onsite technical support to MindBridge employees at our Ottawa headquarters. This role serves as the primary point of contact for Level 1 and Level 2 IT issues, ensuring employees can work efficiently and securely.The successful candidate will support end-user devices, Microsoft 365 services, meeting room technology, identity management, onboarding/offboarding activities, asset management, and general IT operations. This is a hands-on position requiring strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and a practical approach to solving technology issues.What You Will DoEnd User Support Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for hardware, software, and SaaS applications.Respond to and resolve support tickets within established service levels.Troubleshoot OS systems, peripherals, printers, mobile devices, and conferencing technology.Provide deskside support for employees at the Ottawa office.Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when required. Microsoft 365 Support Support all Microsoft 365 applicationsAssist users with account issues, access problems, and collaboration tooling.Support mailbox, distribution group, and shared mailbox administration. Identity & Access Management Provision and deprovision user accounts.Administer ID groups and role assignments.Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee transfers.Assist with access reviews and ensure access requests align with policy. Endpoint & Device Management Configure and deploy laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.Maintain endpoint inventory and asset records.Support MDM devices and endpoint compliance requirements.Assist with software deployment and patch management activities. Office & Meeting Room Technology Support meeting room equipment and conferencing systemsTroubleshoot Teams Rooms and audio/visual issues.Ensure office technology remains operational and ready for use. IT Operations Assist with hardware procurement, inventory control, and asset lifecycle management.Maintain accurate technical documentation and knowledge articles.Perform routine operational tasks, audits, and administrative activities.Participate in IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Security & Compliance Support Follow corporate security policies and procedures.Support security awareness initiatives and compliance activities.Identify and report potential security incidents.Assist with device encryption, endpoint protection, and security remediation activities. QualificationsRequired 1-2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or desktop support roles.Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.Experience working with multiple OSStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Excellent customer service and communication abilities.Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Requirements contingent on employment Fulfill requirements necessary to obtain full background check. Pay Range The expected base salary range for this position is to $51,000 to $68,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills, experience and competencies, and unique qualifications.
