Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000

The Role

We’re looking for a Marketing Lead to take ownership of MyVeloFit’s marketing strategy and execution: building awareness, growing our community, and helping us connect more riders to their best ride experience.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategy, creativity, and analytics. You’ll shape the brand’s direction across digital, video, and community channels, supported by a small but mighty marketing team, and collaborating across Product and Customer Success to deliver a seamless, rider-centered experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Translate business goals into measurable marketing strategies that drive awareness, acquisition, and engagement.
  • Develop and lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, community, and event channels that authentically connect with cyclists.
  • Plan, script, and produce video-first content (Reels, Shorts, YouTube, ads) — from concept to publish.
  • Own the content roadmap and deliver a consistent stream of high-quality marketing outputs — including newsletters, blogs, landing pages, and long + short-form video.
  • Grow and manage our community day-to-day engaging with riders, responding to comments/messages, resharing great community content, and helping the brand feel human and present.
  • Analyze and report on marketing performance, identifying trends and opportunities to focus efforts on what works.
  • Grow and manage partnerships with creators, athletes, and industry partners to amplify reach and credibility.
  • Work closely with Product and Customer Success to ensure a seamless rider journey from first impression to loyal customer.
  • Represent MyVeloFit at events — connecting with riders and the community in a real, human way.
  • Champion authentic storytelling within the brand — ensuring every campaign feels grounded in real cycling culture and experience.
  • Build and run a performance loop: test ideas, measure results, share learnings, and continuously improve what we publish and promote.

What You Bring

  • You’re a cyclist — someone who understands the culture, language, and community from the inside.
  • 3+ years of marketing experience, ideally in cycling, outdoor, or endurance sports.
  • Strong creative instincts and storytelling ability, with excellent writing and communication skills.
  • You’re detail-oriented and quality-driven. You sweat the small stuff because it matters.
  • You’re highly organized and proactive, with strong systems for managing deadlines, assets, and multiple projects at once.
  • You genuinely enjoy community engagement, building relationships, replying, listening, and showing up consistently.
  • Strong analytical mindset — you can interpret performance data, identify trends, and improve what’s working.
  • Comfortable leading others (employees and/or contractors), balancing clear direction with hands-on collaboration.
  • A strategic thinker who can zoom out to set direction and zoom in to get things done.
  • Collaborative, low-ego, and dependable — the kind of teammate people trust and want to build with.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based product environment.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Mailchimp, GA4, and ad platform dashboards.
  • Relationships within the cycling media, content, or event space.
  • Experience attending or activating at cycling events or expos.
