The Opportunity
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to be the voice of our product and our customer. As a PMM, you will be the bridge between our product, marketing, and sales teams. You will own the go-to-market strategy for our core online notarization platform, new digital legal document products, and business solutions.
This role is critical for driving awareness, adoption, and revenue for NotaryPro’s innovative digital services. You will turn product capabilities into compelling customer value, ensuring that our market-leading technology is understood and utilized by our target audiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market & Customer Expertise
- Be the Expert: Develop a deep, evidence-based understanding of our target markets (consumers and businesses), buyer personas, and customer pain points related to document notarization and legal services.
- Competitive Intelligence: Continuously track the competitive landscape, analyzing competitor positioning, product capabilities, and go-to-market strategies to identify key differentiators for NotaryPro.
- Insights to Action: Conduct and analyze market research (surveys, interviews, data) to inform product roadmaps, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns.
2. Positioning & Messaging
- Value Proposition: Develop and maintain clear, compelling, and consistent product positioning and messaging that highlights NotaryPro’s speed, convenience, security, and legal acceptance across all marketing channels.
- Content Strategy: Own the creation of product-focused marketing collateral, including website copy, case studies, videos, blog posts, white papers, and data sheets, tailored to each stage of the customer journey.
- Thought Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert and product evangelist externally (e.g., webinars, industry events, published articles) to promote NotaryPro’s vision for digital legal services.
3. Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy & Execution
- Launch Excellence: Own the cross-functional planning and execution of all product launches, new feature releases, and service updates, ensuring alignment across Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.
- Sales Enablement: Create effective sales enablement tools, including battlecards, pitch decks, demo scripts, and training materials, to empower our sales and customer success teams to articulate product value and handle competitive objections.
- Adoption Campaigns: Develop and execute campaigns to drive adoption and upsell/cross-sell of product features and new services to our existing customer base.
4. Performance & Measurement
- Define Success: Establish clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all GTM activities (e.g., product adoption, feature usage, conversion rates, NPS).
- Analyze & Optimize: Measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives, using data and analytics to iterate on messaging, content, and campaign strategies for maximum impact and ROI.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: years of experience in Product Marketing, preferably within a SaaS, LegalTech, FinTech, or other fast-paced technology company.
- Industry Knowledge (Preferred): Experience or demonstrated passion for the legal, financial services, or regulated technology sectors.
- Communication & Storytelling: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex legal or technical processes into simple, benefit-driven narratives. A writing sample will be required.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to synthesize market data, competitive intelligence, and customer insights into a cohesive product marketing strategy and executable plans.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
- Data-Driven: Proficiency in analyzing marketing and product usage data to measure impact and drive continuous improvement.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a B2B and B2C marketing environment.
- Familiarity with the Canadian legal services market.
- Proficiency with key marketing technology tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, content management systems).
- Experience with a product-led growth (PLG) model.
