Summary
We are seeking a leader dedicated to company success with expert knowledge of sales order, inventory & production control, and purchasing processes. This position is hands-on and on-location with responsibility for executing supply plans & developing processes that will enable the organization to meet sales, service & inventory objectives.
As part of the Supply Chain & Manufacturing team, your cross-functional contributions and relations with external suppliers will deliver quality products & projects in a cost-effective & timely manner. Your in-depth ERP system & process development experience and critical thinking skills shall help secure continuity of supply, and continuous improvement throughout the organization. Experience in supplier relationship management, working with contract manufacturers, standard costing, and knowledge of import/export trade requirements is desirable.

- Schedule production & manage inventory control,
- Work & purchase order generation & management,
- Resource/capacity planning,
- Lead-time management,
- Performance reporting & analysis,
- Cost analysis,
- ERP/process development & continuous improvement
- Project management,
- Maintain documented processes,
- Other duties as required
What you need
- Expert knowledge of manufacturing & supply chain processes in a MTO discreet manufacturing environment,
- Leadership skills, including risk mitigation, achieving optimal performance outcomes and facilitating continuous improvement,
- Innovation & automation experience, advocate of continuous improvement and Lean methods,
- Post-secondary education specializing in supply chain management, ERP/database management, business administration, or designation in a related field (e.g. PMAC, APICS, SCMP),
- Expert knowledge of ERP systems & databases,
- Purchasing and negotiations experience, ideally with contract manufacturers and component suppliers/manufacturers,
- General knowledge of circuit card manufacturing,
- International logistics experience (import/export requirements),
- Strong oral & written communication skills,
- High attention to detail
