PolarGrid is building the inference delivery network for real-time AI. Think CDN architecture, but for AI inference — routing voice AI, video, and agent workloads to the lowest-latency edge node automatically.
Our first customers are voice AI companies. They chose us because we cut their end-to-end pipeline latency by 70%+ vs. current providers. Latency is existential for them - and we're the first infrastructure built around that constraint.
The role
You'll be the first sales hire. You own the full commercial motion - outbound, pipeline, closing, and building the playbook that scales after you.
This is not a "manage a team" role yet. This is a "carry a bag and win deals" role, with the mandate to build the sales team around you as we grow.
What you'll do
• Expand our design partner pipeline into signed contracts
• Build outbound into voice AI and other real time AI verticals
• Run sales cycles end-to-end (discovery → POC → close)
• Define pricing, packaging, and contract structure alongside founders
• Hire and lead the sales team
What we're looking for
• Experience in technical sales, ideally AI infrastructure, cloud, or developer tools
• Proven track record closing $1M+ ACV deals with technical buyers (CTOs, VP Eng, founders)
• Comfortable selling AI infrastructure - you can talk latency, throughput, and GPU pricing without flinching
• Hunter mentality - you build your own pipeline, you don't wait for inbound
• Startup experience required; founding sales hire experience strongly preferred
