About the role
Ready for an adventure? We’re looking for a Lifecycle & Community Manager to join our marketing team and help shape how we engage with our growing community of RV hosts and guests.
In this role, you’ll own the customer lifecycle experience end-to-end - building and optimizing campaigns across email, push notifications, SMS, and in-app messaging to drive engagement, retention, and loyalty. You’ll work closely with teams across Product, Design, and Customer Operations.
We’re looking for a self-starter who is both strategic and hands-on: someone who loves digging into lifecycle data, is highly technical in tools like Braze, and is always thinking about new ways to connect with and engage our community.
This opening is for an existing role.
Key responsibilities
- Own and evolve RVezy’s lifecycle marketing strategy across the full customer journey for both hosts and guests
- Build, launch, and optimize multi-channel campaigns across email, push notifications, SMS, and in-app messaging
- Manage and scale our lifecycle marketing platform including audience segmentation, journey orchestration, experimentation, personalization, and reporting
- Develop automated customer journeys that improve activation, engagement, retention, and reactivation
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Customer Operations teams to identify lifecycle opportunities and improve customer touchpoints
- Analyze campaign and customer performance data to continuously improve engagement and conversion metrics
- Help grow and engage RVezy’s host and guest community through thoughtful communication strategies and community-focused initiatives
- Speak directly with customers to better understand their needs, pain points, and motivations
- Identify and implement new opportunities, channels, and experiments to improve customer engagement and loyalty
- Serve as the internal expert on lifecycle marketing best practices and stay current on industry trends and emerging tools
Qualifications:
Competencies, skills, and attributes:
- 3+ years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, retention, or product marketing
- Strong hands-on experience with Braze or a similar marketing automation platform (Customer.io, Intercom, Marketo etc)
- Technical proficiency in lifecycle marketing tools, segmentation, customer journeys, and campaign setup
- Deep understanding of email, push notification, SMS, and in-app messaging best practices and design requirements
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decisions and optimize performance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable collaborating across teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Curious, proactive, and highly self-motivated
- Comfortable speaking with customers and building authentic relationships with community members
- Creative thinker who enjoys testing new ideas and finding innovative ways to engage customers
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Bonus points if you have:
- Worked at a marketplace or consumer tech company
- Built and managed complex lifecycle journeys in Braze
- Have experience configuring event routing in platforms like Segment
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
- Worked closely with Product teams on lifecycle or onboarding initiatives
- Experience building or managing online communities
- Experience in and passion for travel, camping, RVing, or the outdoors
- Worked in a startup or high-growth environment where you wore many hats
Location
The role will require you to work from our office in Centretown 2-3 days per week.
